Due to the cancellation of most sister society conferences during 2020, the societies came together under the IRES umbrella to offer an inaugural Global Women in Real Estate event in lieu of the women’s networking and panel sessions held at many regional society conferences. IRES will continue to organize GWIRE events as long as the women researchers in the sister societies want to meet virtually to learn and network.
Events:
The 2022 GWIRE on line meeting on August 30th!
See the video here.

In this session, our speaker explored collaborative pathways to anticipating and responding to shocks and stresses that threaten the resilience of real estate and its practice.
Our Keynote Speaker: Basirat Ashabi Oyolowo, University of Lagos

Co-organized by TULSA University

Ongoing Event: Networking — The 2021 GWIRE Committee is organizing small groups who share research interests to network through virtual discussions. Group hosts are being identified who will invite interested GWIRE researchers to a virtual chat to discuss research, publishing, careers, and other topics helpful to the group. Interested researchers who have been unable to attend a GWIRE event and sign up for the networking groups may contact Yi Wu (y.wu9@henley.reading.ac.uk) or Pernille Christensen (Pernille.Christensen@uts.edu.au)
